Autumn is the best time for some ~*dark academia shenanigans*~ and I'm ready to read Babel again! God, Kuang's prose is amazing. I'm currently gritting my teeth at Lettie, though - god, Rami's a better man than me!

2023 is the year of dropped books for me. It's not a bad book AT ALL - it is wonderful, R. F. Kuang's prose is amazing, and the research put into this book is phenomenal. I'm just an anxious mess lately and hearing the racist abuse that Robin and Remi have to take in an academic setting is so goddamn relatable -- TOO goddamn relatable, to the point where I feel panicked when reading - that I gotta put this down.
