Ugh. I wish someone had told me it was supernatural or whatever the term is, because I would not have started it. Shrug. So now I'm going to finish even though it's making me roll my eyes.

I have similar feelings about supernatural stuff. I can handle it in the context of Gothics, and I want to say I enjoyed this author’s first book because it had a historical setting. What do you think of the writing?
