Fascinating read, learning things long unanswered if you were a reader of all of the Vampire Chronicle's. Currently at the most intense part of the book, many shocks & surprises being delivered. Quite happy to have seen the long awaited newest Anne Rice Vampire novel, definitely haven't read anything of this nature in many years!

It's been awhile since I've read a Vampire Chronicles book so it's a little bit of work to completely remember how things were at the end of the last book. Kinda wish I'd re-read the last, but so far it's not enough of a problem that the book isn't easy to get into. Definitely a departure from what I've been reading in the years since her last book!
