Outta the trifecta of tragedy that I know best: Hamlet is still my favorite and probably te best; Macbeth is accessible and imprinted in our cultural consciousness (unsex me now; fair is foul and foul is fair; something wicked this way comes; sound and fury); but Lear is the one that takes you to the saddest and lonliest places the human soul knows.
