Informative in that I had not read any books that addressed the lives of the people who hid in the sewers. Some of it was heartbreaking, yet some of it lacked credibility. The fact that Ella was being watched fairly early in the book, yet was able to continue to loiter over a sewer grate to chat with Sadie and sneak her food didn’t seem realistic. A bit fragmented, but the storyline kept me interested.
