Halfway through the book he's proposing?! What rubbish.

Completely unrealistic how in 1 week Dirk and Rachel fell for each other. Also completely unrealistic for a city girl to recognize places on the bank of a river after seeing them once and in flight or fight mode as she clearly is being chased by a 'mad man' and has been 5 minutes in said frozen river, being swept along past boulders, etc.
