I've been in a horrible book slump and need some help!
Friends, please tell me your all-time most re-read romance books!
I think it says a lot about how a book makes us feel when we want to revisit it multiple times and desperately need some inspiration...

Sorry you’re in a slump, I hope you’re able to find something to pull you out of it! ♥︎These are my favorites re-reads: Honeymoon for One - Keira Andrews ( this book brought me out of a slump, it was pulling at my heart strings from the beginning. It’s very relationship focused and there’s nothing big and dramatic happening but low stress stories are usually my favorite anyways. I think this will always be my all time favorite book )
Fall - Claire Kent ( also brought me out of a slump, I mainly go back to two scenes in the story that give me the feels )

Thank you, Jess -- I hope so too since they're the worst! 💜
Do I need to read the others in that series for Kent? I really liked her post apocalyptic reads. Also, it's only 170 pages and I usually only read close to/above 300 pages because I find they aren't developed enough for my liking when they're significantly shorter -- is that a problem?
I’m pretty sure it’s a standalone, unless the FMC had appeared in one of the other books but I remember it was my first read in the series and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. I also recently recommended it to a friend and she enjoyed it as a stand-alone too. 🤔There’s definitely a lot of things that could’ve been fleshed out more in the story and I didn’t notice the page count before and that would explain why it felt like such a short read. 😂 even with that being said it still felt well rounded and complete if you like the author I really think it’s worth a try especially since it’s not too long you won’t be wasting too much time if you don’t like it, yah?
For historicals: 'A Week To Be Wicked' by Tessa Dare is my go to re-read.
Also, 'The Perfect Rake' by Anne Gracie
For contemporaries, I've been really enjoying the Winston Brothers series on audio. It's excellent!

I think there's some others by her that I've hesitated with just because of the page count...so I probably just need to get over that and try it out! 😅 thanks for the info!

Thanks, I've added The perfect Rake because I've already read the Dare one 🤗
Nancy wrote: "The Wall of Winnipeg and Me! By Mariana Zapata. Only if you like slow burns"I like her voice, but I am too impatient for her suuuuuuuuuppppper slow burns. I know I'm a minority there and I hate it because so many of my GR friends love her and her book blurbs always intrigue me! Thank you though 😉
ugh slumps are the worst! i hope you're able to recover from it soon :) for me it's what price paradise by katherine allred, kiss an angel by SEP, birthday girl by penelope douglas, and unbreak my heart by nicole jacquelyn - happy reading!
Alice Coldbreath’s “ A bride for the Prizefighter” or her Vawdrey brothers series. Love your review breakdowns so hope you get out of your slump soon.
Ana wrote: "elsie silver is great for a book slump! have you read flawless yet?"No, I haven't! I read the second one and enjoyed it, so I really should -- thanks! 💕

What price Paradise has been one I've been considering re-reading because I really do love the unrequited/angsty stuff! And Kiss an Angel is one of my faves too - I just love the setting! I enjoyed birthday girl and sadly didn't enjoy unbreak my heart that much...but thanks so much for sharing! I think I'll definitely look into Paradise again 🙃
Tiffany wrote: "Anything written by Abby Jimenez or Mhairi McFarlane. Four star reads every time!!"Wow, I don't think I've read either of those authors! What are your top reads for them that you'd recommend as a starter? Thanks 🤗
