sad to think that i have 100ish pages left to this book, and i am struggling to pick this up again.
i liked the parallel stories of Sara and Emilie, although they seemed quite similar at some points, both struggling for financial stability and trying to escape a turbulent past . All the characters surrounding them - apart from Grant and Spencer - are so uninteresting, their voices so similar and artificial.
