Bookish pet peeve: don't tell me your book is a psychological thriller/suspense/mystery and then throw in supernatural/paranormal things. If you want to go that way, fine, but let me know and don't force me to figure it out on my own. You may think it's a clever plot twist but trust me, it's been done before and it makes readers like me angry.

Agreed! Getting hit with that twist from an otherwise perfectly good thriller is really frustrating.
