The hero is sweet and takes on all sorts of household chores as well as taking care of her kids.
The alpha is a big ol' flirt and while he's caretaking, he also is constantly distracted by all sorts of other women. And the heroine doesn't want that kind of behavior in a partner. He pursues her more than she wants to be pursued.
Fascinating plot cause it doesn't match the usual AT ALL.

is it a love triangle with the alpha? i wanted to read this but i saw some reviews saying they thought alpha was the hero at first🤔

It's a strange start. You really think the alpha is the hero but it's slowly unveiled that he's not. I'm going to read this with an eye to those who may be more sensitive and I'll update my review after with more details.
I’ve also eyed this before but worried over the start, excited to see your thoughts!
