I now believe my Aunt Lucy (died in 1945) had a B12 deficiency. Her death certificate listed pernicious anemia & she had a “mental breakdown” on a trip in England.

There is a reason this book was referred to me now as I have friends with dementia who may have low B12 levels, and history of dementia is in my family, as well as pernicious anemia.
