I bought this in the summer of 2021 on a very hot day in Leeds (if you can imagine that). I immediately hated the way it was written so have only just picked it up again. The style remains like marmite to me but the more frustrating part is its similarity to Conversations with Friends. I'm a bit fed up of reading about depressed university students with bizarre sex and family lives.
