Bubelah, if your "friend" tries to lock you in their room so you can't go home and then stops eating for days to get your attention, this is not a person you want to be friends with!
(I know, I know, I'm supposed to be invested in the Saint Juste/Kaoru stuff, but Nanako and Mariko's plotline is too astounding to be believed.)

Main story finished. This is the most supremely bittersweet story I've read in the past few years, and maybe even more so than The Rose of Versailles.
