DONE. FINALLY DONE.

Finally, a happy chapter!

This one was also more interesting, having read some books on the progression of atomic theory in the last few years. Thank goodness for that.

Lmao I think this is where I've given up once or twice before. And Final Fantasy 16 is way more exciting than this. Gotta power through!

Quick sidenote but since Game of Thrones the "exposition during sex" is pretty gross. Especially after last chapter explored feminism some.

Was this a reformation? Or just creating the analogue to Marx?

Ah okay, and I didn't stop to research steel making or Hobbes' air pump or anything, that's why I always stop there. It's inconceivable that two people would do the entire scientific revolution on their own, but okay I guess.

The other problem is that each chapter ends depressingly (they don't die horribly in chapter 2, but the story ends right when everything goes wrong). It's 800 pages and really rough.

Yep, I've slowed down. I think the next section is where I usually tap out.

I....don't agree with using "ibn" as a first name designator.

Every time, this book starts strong and I'm invested. Gotta keep the interest going this time!
