It's getting a little better, now that I'm getting into the flow, but now I have a new problem. Info dump overload, especially in the middle of conversations. Awkward places for info dumps.

This is a real struggle to get through so far. Everything is written in past tense at the moment, and there's a real continued use of the words 'had been' repeatedly while describing things in the past tense. I hope this tense changes once we get to current times.
