Okay, I rarely do this, but I’ve got to get this off my chest. I’m 205 pages in and I don’t know if Mrs. Holzner is just a poor writer or if she intentionally made her heroine pathetically stupid. There are several different plot lines at work, and VV seemingly always jumps to conclusions, fails to see obvious connections, and is just plain ignorant.
