I’ve understood my issue with this book. The reader already knows what the “source of the scare” is. And how to deal with it. Just like the characters. The whole idea of fear generates from the unknown. And, so far … that’s missing here?
But I was also recommended this book by a very reliable source, so I shall strive on.

Been very excited about this. Horror is an escape genre for me. I’m easily scared and I love it. But …. so far, I haven’t been scared-scared. I mean, sure, the creepy spirit thing has happened, but I’m one season into this and I’m waiting for, well, more. Much more. Terrify me. C’mon.
