Amazingly detailed. I would have never thought that a book with such a generic title could offer a holistic and fulfilling holistic depiction of Moroccan history, with two of the most underrated world empires.

I was especially looking for details on the economy, which are very rarely satisfyingly detailed in Islamicate history books. I was surprised. They did a wonderful job.
