I don't think I can go on. My verdict so far: yeah it is just as bad as other people say it is.

bracing myself for an extremely politically incorrect book........I don't know why I do this to myself. But every time I read about a supposedly "bad" book then I am compelled to read it myself to see whether it really is that bad......says a lot about my trouble-prone personality......
