So my verdict of this series is that the first one was angsty af but awesome, the second was nearly as angsty and nearly as awesome, while the third was a low angst crime-action plot with a fairly boring romance, and the fourth is a low angst also boring romance without much of a plot. At least not so far. And yet I’ve ranked them all the same. Just shows how wide of a span the 3 star rating can be…
