"Weimar"'s been a trope cautionary watchword for the politically-center for so long that it's easy to forget that it's a real place w/ real people—let alone a golden age for music, film, & the proverbial "alternative lifestyle," etc.

Anyway, owned this for years w/ attempts to read here & there. Finally getting back. The acclaimed b&w Hergé-esque ligne claire style is simply spellbinding. Very glad to be wading back
