Small update: That was good and the Cliff hanger I did not expect AT. ALL. Full review tomorrow :)

I won't lie, I love some great story build up angst as much as the next person but I really need something to keep me here at this point.. about 200 pages in and I have learned that: (1) no one is willing to tell her about her past and (2) things happened with/against/for the Shadow king. This is it... Starting to get frustrated and unmotivated to finish

I won’t lie I’m enjoying this interest BUT I am dying to get to the dark enemies to lovers portion 🥵

“It’s the Shadow throne,” Catherine told her. “Do you see now? You’ll take it. You’ll overthrow the Shadow King.”

Okay, I won’t lie I’m still pretty intrigued but… why is no one telling this poor girl anything? Getting a little frustrated with everyone’s “just pretend and act normal” with no idea what the hell normal is. Like give her something to model after 😤
