god there are so many characters with extremely dysfunctional lives, bad parents, complex sibling dynamics, etc. in the Osemanverse and i wish i would’ve started reading these when i was in school. i would’ve genuinely felt so seen by all these characters back then, like i do feel seen by them NOW but when i was a teenager? hoo boy.

Frances and Aled’s bond is so interesting. it somehow feels both like a possible romantic thing, but also a queerplatonic situation where they’re way better than just friends but nowhere near couple-y. and they feel autistic as FUUUCK to me as a queer autistic person. i see myself so much in this so far

i would genuinely love to see this book get an adaptation on a similar scale to Heartstopper, i fucking love these characters

rising from my grave, back from the dead! i haven’t really finished a book since September and i figured now’s the time. picked this up on a whim since heartstopper 6 finally got a release date and a cover reveal, and i’m fully into it thank GOD. i neeeeeed to finish this and read the rest of the osemanverse to get myself back into the swing of reading i think

oh wow the dialogue between Frances and Aled is soooo fucking real LMAO its so insanely awkward in the exact way i’d imagine it’d be if i ended up in this situation somehow, VERY impressed with this so far!

i love being able to recognize Nick and Charlie from simple little character descriptions and literally zero names LMAO glad ive at least read Nick and Charlie instead of just heartstopper, the way this is all connecting is awesome
