So far, this does not interest me enough to pick the book and read but a friend said things will get interesting around 60%. Switching to audiobook and I hope I can manage this till the end 🤞

Uh, close to 1/3rd of this book, but I do not feel I am fully into the plot, it doesn't really draw me in.
Great characters and friendships though. I understand where Ramy is coming from w.r.t. the British Colonialism and it is interesting to see the counter viewpoint.

I am afraid those long chapters mean that it would be a real effort to push myself through this, since we are not fully into the plot.
