Quite nice, and I can see a direct line running between this book and 2020’s “Fighting Words.” The main character makes her leap at the end, and although I don’t really make it with her, it’s nice to watch from the sideline.

Instantly immersed. SHE STABBED A DUDE. Will the whole book be this good? (Not that stabbing a dude is good.) Because I really loved "Fighting Words" and the two "War That Saved My Life" books. This was published in 2007.
