With both parents with masters, I have not been someone who outgrew her parents at an early stage of their life. That’s why I have been captivated by dynamics between father and daughter in this piece. And I must say - it’s not always sugar and spice. Father feels humiliated, angry because daughter knows more than him. Daughter has to navigate a world that is foreign to her background and upbringing by herself.
