I thought bk#1 was a bit clunky, but the bonkers world building and cozy charm sucked me in. This sequel feels like the authors at their best, I've laughed out loud repeatedly.
Like many, I'm still not a fan of the bookcovers. I think we should petition the authors to hire the artist Tommy Arnold to reimagine them.

I'm like you, I prefer not to read everything from authors I like because I want to have something from them to look forward to. But it's been 6 years since I finished the Hidden Legacy trilogy, and they continue to release new stuff, soooo, I'm finally taking the plunge.

And yeah we can count on them to release new stuff and their books are usually even better on a re-read, so... I'm not so stingy with them 🤭
Also, IA has chronically awful covers... the Innkeeper ones are actually... manageable for me.
