So much character & story building here. I’ve honestly been rather impressed with Jordan’s pacing so far. For me, the first 19 chapters have been some of the most evenly paced of the whole series up to the point. Such a stark contrast to book 1 which either dragged or sprinted. Arriving now at chapter 20, I can tell for sure that something big is coming. Wish I had more time to read today!

It’s really hard to read when you’re sleepy. I don’t recommend it. Nonetheless, excellent read this time. Lest I fall asleep amidst my update like last time, I do believe I’ll call it a day for now.

Getting down to the last 200 pages. The book has truly been overall excellent up to this point, and I’m expecting a strong finish. These next few chapters are definitely the final push to the climax/resolution portion, so there should be some pretty significant movements about to happen which carry us to the climax. Can’t wait to pick back up (hopefully) tomorrow!

Good day of reading. Love how this story is building! Definitely a “developmental” book in some ways, but perhaps it’s some development that’s long overdue. It’s a shame it’s not rated higher in the lineup—I’ve enjoyed it no less than any of the others so far, and perhaps more than most (to my own surprise).
