Yeah. This was pretty good. What you want from the first book of a RH shifter series. And I appreciated the addition of witches and their magic. I do find it odd that there wasn't more magic done though. I was also surprised by a RH shifter romance is anti-breeding. I wish the ending left us with some clue or idea of what the next book will be about, instead of just continuing for the characters and the death coverup

The male narrator isn't great, and all his breaths are included. Luckily most of it is narrated by the female.
