This is the 3rd book in the rom com series set in small town New York state. I've read the first two, but I think you can enjoy this one 100% if you don't read it in order. I'm such a sucker for a wounded hero--in this case, a Marine who was literally wounded in combat and has an artificial leg. Emotionally, he doesn't want his family to worry, so he keeps to himself...which, of course, makes them all worry!
