I was afraid of that.

...and the darkness begins, and the breaking of the fellowship. I have a feeling it's going to be a nightmare from here on out, but a meticulously-written nightmare of sheer insightful genius.

This is THE PERFECT NOVEL so far, especially for linguists, literary scholars, polyglots, writers, and those of us in love with Oxford. I have a feeling it's going to take a very dark turn and break my heart, though.
