I’m 66% in and feel low key claustrophobic at how needy Egon is. Prior to meeting Rake he appeared to have his life in moderate order but has completely let go since and is unravelling. This personality transplant along with the obsession with Rake doesn’t feel romantic… I shall wait and see what happens next.
