I’m finding this book a bit frustrating so far but I think it might just be that I am not the target audience for the book. Like, and there’s no way to say this without sounding like an asshole, I think I’ve read too much about queer desire and lesbians in the archive. I think the average reader is probably not coming to this book with that much background knowledge.
