I love the level of agency these women have over what happens in the romance. And I adore that Stacy just put herself in his lap to cuddle when he said he was feeling the urge to hold her and protect her. Like, no question or "ew, no". They BOTH feel the connection and are able to make moves.

I love that he held back and let her make the first move. But signaled it was okay. Super right for her past.
