I'm rather behind on updates lol. Another line from the book:

The driver shouted, "Move!" as his whip cracked the air like a splintering branch. The massive horses thundered her [Agatha's] way.

Agatha stuffed the wooden bits into the crates with all of her other treasures that she collected, such as old brown wrapping paper, bent cooking utensils, rags, discarded shawls, tiny trinkets from the sewer, and more. She even collected wooden beads and strung them together, like Nari had once shown her. She liked to pretend they were bracelets like the one Nari had to wear when she worked.

AAHH!! Guess what came a day early??!! YES! The proof copies have finally arrived! The illustrations are perfect (and I even added a gallery at the back with my sister's extra illustrations *shh*). There's just a few minor adjustments to the front and back cover that we need to do, but that won't affect the cover reveal (proof copy pics will be shared on cover reveal day: 9/13/23).
