I must admit, I'm stalling to read this next part. Tynisa found out a little less than halfway through the book that Tissamon is her father. There's no acknowledgment from him at all, and she's about to confront him on the matter. I'm unsure if the discomfort stems from the touchy-feely, emotionally driven nature of the scene or what.

Okay, I'm stalling to read this next part. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. Tynisa has recently found out by eavesdropping that Tissamon is her father. Besides when they do recon work or such missions, he doesn't acknowledge her at all. In this scene, she's going to confront him on the matter. I'm unsure if the discomforts stems from the touchy-feely, emotionally driven nature of the scene or what.

I could be wrong here, but why do I have a strong feeling that Che is going to be an Integral part of the plot? She's portrayed as a very nondescript and unremarkable character, but has displayed the total opposite quite a few times already and I'm not quite halfway through this.

Took a little while, but I'm finally starting to care about the characters. It certainly helps that I can sense a very loyal bond between the four main characters as well as a couple supporting ones. Nothing like the bonds of friendship, eh? Helps, too, that there's been a decent amount of action. Not as much as I prefer in my books yet, but I have a feeling there's a lot more action to come in this series.
