Fun start with likeable ppl and funny, believable scenarios where things get out of hand. The dvlpmnt is easy, a delight to read. But, once we start getting into the conflict involving Cal's mysterious past (which was disappointingly simplistic with nondescript, distanced villains), and their relationship attempts to deepen, the ppl start to feel juvenile and unreal. I question Cal's astonishing ability to lip read.
