Whoa, here I go again. I thought scenes in ALEXA was squirm worthy, some in RAGE TO LOVE squirm worthy...this book jumps right into it...The French revolution has begun. An English lord has gone to the French prison to find his fiance. Oh, he finds her alright..what is left of her...

Cornwell loves the gore, from the books I've read of his. His style, though, is too dry for me. I tend to snooze.

I seem to think this book was a collaboration of 2 writers. I'm on page 77 now and certainly don't feel like snoozing. The (h) is targeted by The Fallen Angels an off shoot of the Illuminati. She's been attacked by some sick, pox infected, boil baring, piece of disgusting shit, hired by the Angels.
