slowly but surely making my way through this book

really enjoying the information in this but the flippant tone (in the writing) has gotten old...

Oh yeah this book is fascinating and very well written in an accessible way (at least so far)!!
Also, as a person from Texas, who had to take Texas history in seventh grade, and has been to the Alamo multiple times…I am learning a lot!!

I definitely did not expect this to start off with a quote from John Steinbeck NOR did I expect the story of Ozzy Osbourne peeing on the Cenotaph (monument with the names of those killed) right next to the Alamo. I might just have to buy a physical copy of this book because I think it is going to be a wild ride.
