This story is about TRUST and is getting better as the book develops. Sometimes an author hits on a phrase or a statement that beautifully describes a setting, a characteristic, a feeling -- and in the two chapters I just finished, Marta Perry nails several of these. In an ARC review, you refrain from exact quotes but how I wish I could with one paragraph.

I believe you should put this on your "Want To Read" list. There's trouble in town and pin the Amish community ... And it's escalating. I'm finding it hard to put this book down. I have to remind myself I have laundry to do, the house needs to be straightened, I need to work on finances,— — —But But I wanna read!!!!

A good start. For some reason, I've never Bern able to "get into" a Thanksgiving based book. But this one is starting out well. But then, the author is Marta Perry and I love her Amish mysteries.
