The pacing is a bit fast. I guess it is a shorter book. But truthfully as much as I love this author and this world this was not my favorite. However, I admire Lin for always stating in her author's note what specific source she was drawing from. Sometimes people don't forgo violence and revenge. Also the not clear ending kinda makes sense for this couple.
