Picked this up at Barnes and Noble yesterday. Read the first chapter and had to stop for tonight. Authors please stop starting stories by introducing characters and then killing them all off. It's not great at any time imo, but starting off by spitting in my mouth is really rough.

While I was irritated by how lost I felt in the world of The Dawnhounds earlier in the book, having all the other characters vomit up backstory all over Yat doesn't seem like the best solution to me.

Still not really sure what's going on. A bit sad that it seems like the sex and drugs have gone and I'm not even getting clarity in return.
