I decided not to take umbrage when Mikhail gave me this quote from Pavlov ("Самое важное в каждом деле - пересилить момент, когда вам не хочется работать"/"The most important thing in each case - to overpower a time when you don't want to work") since there's most likely something valuable tucked into the history, science, and language.
