Anyone read this series?
Not loving the character change from book 1, nor the precocious child. I was hooked after the 1st book because of the epilogue set in South Africa. The story of the Huguenots in SA is interesting: people came here to avoid persecution, they were not allowed to speak French... But this is stagnating. The bits set in South Africa are generations away. Not enjoying where I am.
