anthony once a year at the holidays. maria tried to tell anthony about her selfish choice to keep his daddy away from him but in my opinion it was an excuse she didnt even know who his daddy was. and anthony tried to look for himself but no luck. the book ended pretty good. its just sad what happened to maria even tho she had completely turned her life around.

so the way this book ended i was pretty pleased. it all came out. jamesjr ended up getting his daddy out of prison with his law work. and james sr got his act together. and wanted to be active in the grandkids life since he wasnt active in his own kids life. abuela ended up going back to mexico to see sofia father grave, she wondered if things would have been different if she would have just stayed in mexico. selena

abuela wasnt going. abuela even asked selena if she wanted to go up there but she refused due to already making a life out there in florida. im excited to see how things fall in place.

up going back to work but got real sick and ended up in the hospital. she was out for two days. she seen anna there by her side. due to complications with aids maria finally passed but she was at a good peace with everyone. its so sad how her life ended especially with her trying to change her life around. anthony is going to live with sofia i just hope that she takes care of him better then she did her kids.

what a sad sad chapter. maria hasnt been taking her medicine because it makes her sick. so instead she has been taking natural herbs and things but it hasnt been helping and she ended up passing out. the news came to selena about maria being positive for AIDS. selena instantly started going off blaming her mother for everything. maria and selena ended up making up which was all that needed to be done. maria did end

she subjected them to the same type of lifestyle that she had BUT WORSE`. if maria wasnt introduced to that type of lifestyle more then likely she wouldnt have the disease that she has now. maria and sofia have forgiven each other and i hope that their relationship gets a bit better. especially since there is no telling how long that maria may have left to live.
