The whole concept of "show your work" in math baffled myself and the majority of my classmates. Here, Crystal would write paragraphs explaining her thought process, which the teacher took as a slight. To me, writing it out with words is better! The best math teacher I had gave us an assignment where we explained the process in words. I loved it! For us math-hating autistics, let us WRITE!
