I’m only a few chapters into the audiobook but the female narrator is annoying. Why does she feel the need to slow down her speech when she switches to a “male voice” and why is she making Ava out to be almost condescending. I think I was spoilt because I listened Mercy Kilpatrick and the Columbia Rivers books first and I really liked how those were narrated. I might have to switch to reading the book instead
