The contents of this book were a bit too advanced for me, but it was helpful for getting a big picture look at the wheel of the year, foraging responsibly, and growing and using magical plants, including poisonous ones. I also noticed it has an excellent index in the back.

Zachary Bean What is one thing you’ve learned?

Viktoria Hmm well one thing I didn't know yet about plants that I learned and am about to apply IRL is that some seeds have to be activated by heat or by cold (it varies) first in order to grow. I'm going to plant some rose verbena (native to KS) now in late fall because the cold winter will perform the stratification process that will lead to it growing in spring. Turns out rose verbena isn't technically verbena -- didn't know that when I purchased it -- but I'm looking at maybe getting wild bergamot too (same process needed) and maybe proper verbena too.
