Okay I’ve determined my issue with the writing ..redundancy and telling not showing on every instance

I just read a part where she’s like “there was an undeniable intimacy” about an inherently intimate moment, between the characters it’s like why do you have to write it like that…the reader knows it’s intimate we are humans?!?

What is she talking about.. she never hated him. This book is all over the place
