Terri What do you think of it? I just got it for my husband. We're going on a cruise to the Bahamas, and we're doing Kennedy Space Center on the way there.

Demauri Mackie Nice! I've always wanted to go to KSC. It's an ok book. It's bit dry, but you get some insight on all of the missions from Mercury through Apollo. I've read Jim Lovell's Apollo 13 and Gene Cernan's Last Man on the Moon and would probably recommend both of them more highly in terms of the detail of specific missions and their storytelling ability. This book reads more like a litany of all of the manned missions. My favorite parts are when he talks about how things that came up in training sims become relevant in actual missions. It's an interesting back room look at the space program, and is a very readable book, but I'm not sure how much of it will stick with me after I finish it.
